The sandy shores of New Jersey and Long Island are whipped by the winter gales, designing ripples and steaks in the sand as if they were abstract paintings. Over a century of skill and craftsmanship is woven into every rug we produce. Woven on jacquard looms with cotton chenille yarns, each beautiful rug has multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching detail to give a true 'Vintage' look.
The color descriptions and images shown have been supplied by the manufacturer. The actual pattern may vary as it is scaled to fit each rug's size and shape. All sizes and colors are approximate. Because of the nature of handmade rugs, some styles may be up to 6" smaller in both width and length. If an exact size is important for your space please live chat to inquire before purchase. The ordering process and follow up were great ! The shipping took over 10 days for some reason, but the rug arrived in great shape and looks great in our room.
Quality rug cut and bound to my required dimensions. The binding was flawless and correct and shipping was very fast.
Highly recommend getting a sample because this rug is not very much like the photos. It is really well made and soft underfoot and I imagine will hold up over time. However the color in the photos shows a warm cream background with rich reds and brown details. Instead the field is quite bright and the colors more on the dark pink side than red. It’s overall much brighter/lighter than I I had hoped for, so everything in my room now looks dull next to it. I kept it but it has been a hassle figuring out how to coordinate it with the other more muted shades in my earthy bedroom.
