Solid rugs can serve a space well without adding too much pattern or distraction. Depending on the texture and finish of the solid area rug, the solid rugs can vary from luxurious to informal.
Highly recommend getting a sample because this rug is not very much like the photos. It is really well made and soft underfoot and I imagine will hold up over time. However the color in the photos shows a warm cream background with rich reds and brown details. Instead the field is quite bright and the colors more on the dark pink side than red. It’s overall much brighter/lighter than I I had hoped for, so everything in my room now looks dull next to it. I kept it but it has been a hassle figuring out how to coordinate it with the other more muted shades in my earthy bedroom.
