This collection by Louis De Poortere, Khayma stands for the traditional tent used by the nomadic tribes in the dessert. By extension, it also stands for the family, the home or the tribe as a whole. The flooring would consist of rugs for comfort and partly for decoration too. Over a century of skill and craftsmanship is woven into every rug we produce. Woven on jacquard Wilton looms with cotton chenille yarns, each beautiful rug has multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching detail to give a true ?vintage? look. Woven in a fashionable flat weave construction, all of these rugs are hand finished with reinforced corners and an anti-slip layer for a secure fit. 0.12 inch pile thickness.
The color descriptions and images shown have been supplied by the manufacturer. The actual pattern may vary as it is scaled to fit each rug's size and shape. All sizes and colors are approximate.
